Daryl D. Kraft, president and founding owner of Environment Control Building Maintenance Company, is a native Californian who graduated from Biola University in 1966. In 1963 he purchased a small janitorial business while still in college, which he subsequently incorporated in 1970. From then until now, Environment Control has expanded into a national franchise organization of over 50 franchisee companies in 20 states with over $50 million annual revenues.
In addition to his ongoing responsibilities at EC’s corporate headquarters in Coeur
d’Alene, Idaho, Daryl conducts a nationally-distributed weekly Bible study, and speaking engagements presenting topics such as: The Exchanged Life; Right Thinking; Criticism Is My Friend; What Is a Christian Businessman?; and If Taking My Wife Bear Hunting Isn’t Love—What Is? He is the author of three inspirational books: A Different Place; The Businessman’s Guide to Real Success; and Knowing the God Who Chose You. He conducts seminars on Marriage, and Rest for Stressed out Christians.
Whether in his writings, speaking, or day-to-day dealings with others, Daryl seeks to share one simple, liberating message: that the Christian life, which God intends for us, is not one of exhaustive struggle, but a life full of the peace and freedom that comes from experiencing Christ Himself, growing and manifesting His life— in us!
He and his wife Sherryl make their home in Hayden, Idaho, and have four grown children and 11 grandchildren.
